--> Michiko { H i d e behind a mask}
The leaves where gradually beginning to turn brown, their once vibrant green colors were gradually beginning to fade away, the air was brisk and a chilly draft lingered in the air. Fall was here and winter was only a short distance away. A few leaves flew in the wind, those who were snagged from the branches of their trees and dragged out the short distance by the wind. Fall was indeed a beautiful time, the way the trees changed red, orange, and brown and the weather was at its perfect state. It wasn’t too hot, but it wasn’t too cold. It was perfect. Every other season – except for spring – was either blazing heat or bitter coldness.
Michiko had her eyes closed, feeling the wind rustle through her white fur. She leisurely opened her eyes and took a deep breath. Michiko Nightomen was the Delta of the Jyotsana pack, but she wanted to get away from the bustle for a while and relax in this nice meadow. It would have been nicer in a forest, however there were quite a few trees scattered here and there and the wide open spaces made her feel free – forest sometimes made her feel locked up, she hated that feeling. She took a deep breath and curled her tail around her slender body as she turned her gaze up toward the sky.
Sometimes Michiko felt like a pup again, with out a care in the world. Being raised by her parents along with her three brothers, however life wasn’t always simple. Seeing the drama between her parents made Michiko close out her life, she didn’t even except friends. She didn’t want to get close to anyone, no matter if they could be her friend or mate – she didn’t want any of that – she couldn’t. She lowered head and looked at the ground. It would be too painful. She saw what her mother – a full blooded vampire – when her father left her she was a total wreck most of Michiko’s life her mother was confident and strong-willed but it was as if she just given up on life when Kaige left her. A shiver ran down Michiko’s spine as she tried to shake it away.
Michiko pinned her ears to her head. Michiko looked young she was slim and long and she was a beautiful site – but she was actually over a hundred years old, good thing she still had quite a few hundreds of years to go before she would be considered ‘old’ Michiko was pure white except for a black marking underneath both of her eyes and a black moon and star upon her right hind leg. Two black feather wings were compressed to her side. She was the only one out of her immediate family who got wings, her mother said she got it from her Grandmother, although Michiko never met her before the only two that she met outside her immediate family was her two Aunts – a visit Michiko didn’t like to remember.
It was coming, she knew it was, it was only a few weeks away before the eclipse would come and she would turn into her demotic form. She didn’t like her demotic form, she blacked out and destroyed and killed everything in sight. The only thing she wanted was blood – Michiko shook her head at the thought – no she didn’t want to think about how she was like in that form. She was a monster, who could love a monster? Michiko frowned, she usually wasn’t like this, well – actually she didn’t act like this. She acted tough and like she had it together and most of the time, but sometimes she felt insecure about things. Michiko snapped her eyes closed and shook her head. No, she would be strong, she wouldn’t give up. She grinded her teeth together she wasn’t going to think of such nonsense. After all she had vampire and demon blood running down her veins.
Michiko pushed herself off the ground and looked toward the sky – she wasn’t going to let her guard down. Never.

Thumping paws of an over sized wolf slowed down, he caught a sent of a wolf, but it was different then the ones he was just with. He stopped completely, sniffing more intently, it was a sweet scent. This wolf would taste good, but that was not the point of this voyage, of this hunt.
The black wolf made his way to wards the other wolf, the one staring into the blackening sky. "Should a pretty wolf such as yourself, by out so late?" He whispered in a rough voice. He looked down at her, her white fur pleased him, he like the color white. He pictured how is white eyes would look so off against his black fur, he smirked.
He saw the leaves falling from their trees, he was only use to pines, so leaves were something new to him. "This scenery is pretty, well compared to you that is." His voice for some reason sounded off to him, like it was not him speaking.
Why am I saying this stupid stuff. I never once treated Midori with so much affection in one day. This is sicking, why am I acting so nice today. Oh, Ice Angel you are taking me over little by little. You were why I was so cold, and now there is no balance, only me. I must hold up this balance, I must be good and bad. I want to be evil, come back to me. His thoughts made him look to the sky.
"Are you hoping the moon will tell you the future? I heard amazing things about this moon. Well, more what wolves could do under it. They are effected my the phase of the moon, I was always told never to wander so far away from home. We never had immortals or shape shifters, or phasing wolves. I never understood why this mythical stuff was so, central to south." He was rumbling.
He stood tall, bringing his shoulders out, making himself larger. But why, he was not afraid of this little wolf. This wolf was small, well compared to him most wolves were. But she had one small advantage, she had wings. "You seem pretty mythical yourself. Should I fear you phase with the moon too?" He said baring his teeth in a playful growl. He let a small chuckle escape. I'd crave a good fight right now. That mind reader, he must be messing with my head. Me, giving obedience to such a wolf.
"Tell me, I am on a hunt for food, would you join me? I am new to these lands. I just found myself a new family." He said staring at her some more. Why was he looking for company? He did not mind the past few months of being lonely, the other lone wolves he could fed on. Why not fed on this wolf?

Michiko was last in her own little world. She thought about her past and what would come of her future. Where would she be in the next fifty years or so? She stared up into the sky intently, her eyes giving off a dreamy look – that is when a voice cut through her thoughts. She shook her head and turned to look at the male who spoke to her. She narrowed her eyes. “Excuse me?” She asked as she pushed herself off of the ground, her tail flickering behind her as she held her wings loosely to both of her sides.
She listened to him talk, though she truthfully was only half paying attention to what he was saying. She wasn’t sure if he was completing her or trying to be funny, but whatever it was, it wasn’t fooling her “No, I’m not hungry, why don’t you go bother someone else?” She asked in a somewhat irritated voice as she walked away a few feet and sat back down. She tried to concentrate once more, but now it was broken. She sighed as she pushed her ears back against her skull.

He was looking at her curiously, "So, your an immortal too eh?" He was starting to assume no one around here eat, due to this fact. That would hopefully mean, more to hunt. White teeth bared themselves, lips pilled around them, these teeth were not fully white they were tainted, with a crimson red. They say if you eat wolves that was a curse, their blood would taint your teeth and give you away.
"Could you at least tell me, can you read minds too?" He was getting irritated with these wolves. All them seemed so different, he was loose the upper hand. I could have had a good meal with this wolf. Why dose she have to be so, ah, appealing to my other wants. "Also, where is a good place to hunt, loner?" This time is voice cooling off, he was a calming. Maybe, he was relaxing due to the deep breaths he was talking, her scent was relaxing. Maybe it shouldn't be? He knew she wanted to be alone, why else would someone walk away from company, right? Shadow let himself stand where he was, not inching closer to her. "Oh, by the way I am Shadow Knight. Call me Shadow." He released with a smirking. "May I ask who you are?"
He let his body relax even more, his shoulders brought back in. There would be no need to make him self look more large, when there would be no fight. The head of the wolf looked to wards her thoughtfully. This reminded him of the nights he would hear the heart breaking howl. His sister waiting in full moon light, as an angelic wolf, she was demonic. He would always find her, beg her to come back to him. But that was the past, now is the present.

Michiko frowned and shook her head at his words. “No, I’m not immortal.” She said as she turned to look at them. She once wished that she was immortal, but her father seemed to distaste it quite much, so it must be horrible. “But I’ve been around for a while…sadly….and I said I wasn’t hungry, because I’m not.” She said which was somewhat truthful. She could eat, but then she really didn’t have to right this second. She looked at him strangely when he asked her the next question. “No, I can’t read minds, but I’m able to look into the future sometimes…” she never knew how her father could handle it. She liked it sometimes, but then she couldn’t – the worst part was that she wasn’t able to control it.
“Over there.” She said motioning her head were the larger game was. “And I’m not a loner.” She told him with a small frown. She was almost going to ignore his last question. Part of her truly did wish he would leave her alone, but she was a bit lonely. She shook her head and dug her claws into the ground. “My name holds no importance to you, but if you must know it’s Michiko Nightomen.”

Shadow walked towards where her head pointed. He took it slow, making sure to reserve his energy til the hunt. HE had not slept peacefully in days. "Michiko, I will see you again. I will bring you food. Rest, ponder your thoughts. I will be back." He whispered, now he was picking up his pace.
Maybem she will look into my future; if I am around long enough. How he would love to know if he found his sister, that thing he needs to survive. He never realized how much he craved to find her. With out her kind heart, he was turning to be a sweeter wolf. He would not stand for that, there need be no balance. He must stay pure to himself, to his past.

“You never give up, do you?” She called after him with a heavy sigh. Why wouldn’t he just leave her alone, was it really that hard to just get up and leave? She shook her head as she turned and looked away from him. She didn’t want to leave, she liked it here, it was peaceful…well it was until he had to come and destroy that peaceful. Now she felt the burden of pack life come back to her. It wasn’t that she disliked her pack, she liked it, but she didn’t always liked to be around others, sometimes it just bugged her. She shifted her weight as she dug her claws into the ground as she dreadfully looked up at the sky. It was coming…very soon. In a matter of weeks a lunar eclipse was on its way. A shiver ran down her spine. She hated that time of the year.
