Silence.
It could drive one mad; the eeriness that it brings causes a shiver to run down one’s spine. Forgotten memories and thoughts come back like a knife through the chest. No sounds can be heard, not even the sound of one’s heart pounding in their chest, their eyes filled with apprehension waiting for something to happen….because of silence. One knows that silence always means trouble, and it comes in unimaginable ways. Ways that are gruesome and atrocious. Silence is basically forewarning your death or sanity. However some are too oblivious to take the warnings.
The forest was pitch black, regardless that it was in the middle of the day, the suns rays could not scrape past the thick branches above. It did not matter for the Azrael wolves; most of them despised the sunlight with a burning hatred so the forest was a refuge from the blazing heat. The dark trees lingered high into the sky, shadows lurked behind each corner only the bravest wolves dared to enter the deadly forest, because most of the time, most never came out of the forest. There was a chilly draft because of the fall, however unlike other trees these were stained black from the eternal darkness so the only hint of autumn was the occasionally bitter breeze that blew through the deadly forest.
Chains off in the distance of the forest could be heard, softly at first. A soft tinkling noise that echoed across the forest, however it began to grow louder and louder. The strong smell of a male wolf suddenly appeared out of thin air. It was almost impossible to see the male, though it was obvious he was there. A low growl could be heard from his maw, he however was mixed in with the shadows, he was one with the darkness. However as the noise came closer and closer an outline of his features could be somewhat visible. He was not only a large wolf – he was huge. He stood almost eight feet tall and weighed over 200 pounds. Large chains which were wrapped around him shimmered in the dimmest of light. Bloodstained fangs could be seen as he pulled back his lips and bared them.
One glance at his gigantic beast would cause a shiver done your spine – unless you were a pure evil wolf. Most evil wolves wouldn’t allow them to be scared by his huge size and great power. The great beast took a few steps forward, his large paws slamming into the ground, causing vibrations to cure underneath. The wolf held his head up proudly and his tail curled across his back. He was still blended with the shadows pretty well, making him seem even more eerie because one could not see all of him only parts and pieces of his massive body. After a while some red spots could be seen upon his fur – however this red was not markings, but in fact was blood – this wolf was very infamous indeed. He was known almost across the world for several years –until he was sent to hell that is when his name began to decline- he used to kill with no mercy, tore at others, dismantled wolves in the most disgusting ways – and even went to the point of eating them.
This infamous wolf was no other then Jabez Bloodwind Alpha of the Azrael wolf. Although he no longer killed for the thrill, even though he –kind of- put his cannibalism away, didn’t mean you would want to get on his wrong side. His only patience laid with his pack members only. One wrong move and it will be the last move you make. He’ll make sure of that.

Ketsurui padded slowly through the dark, ominous forest. Heck... She might even like it here. A small, sickening smirk crossed her lips as she thought of that. A place to call home. To sleep and wake up to, to be all friendly with the creatures around it, and.. BLEH! SO soft... It was pathetic. Truly, truly pathetic. How could anyone stand for that kind of thing... It was all too soft. Too... too light. Ketsurui let her wings spread out for a moment, enjoying the feeling of her joints loosening for a moment before tucking them back in. Eighteen foot long wings tended to get in the way too often... But they were great at times.
Ketsurui stopped dead in her tracks as a scent of another came to her nose... A smile crossed her lips once more. This could be fun. Suddenly, Ketsurui found herself chuckling, then tipping her head back to let insane laughter fill the air around her. In this forest... The sound, so shrill and bone chilling, would send any of the weak of heart scattering. In fact, Ketsurui felt her own blood slowly starting to chill... Turning into colder ice than it already was.
After Ketsurui's moment of insanity was done, she continued to move forward, her head tilted almost cockily, and her tail held at a level that showed pride.. She was a force to be reckoned with. And Ketsurui knew that. She knew that the second her transformation from Melody to Ketsurui had begun... He would be proud... Yes.. Yes... So very proud if he could know... Did he know? Ketsurui felt her smile grow, something that suggested further insanity.
And heck yes was she insane. There was no way this wolf could be mentally sound... No possible way at all.
Well, all weak clear the way... Ketsurui is here, and she doesn't mind spilling innocent blood.

It did not take Jabez long to feel the presence of another within his territory. He narrowed his pitch black eyes down to slits as he scanned the forest. He could not spoke her, but he guessed she was somewhat close. He grunted and dug his sharp claws into the ground. Jabez would not tolerate disrespect toward him, he would kill anyone who dare try to take him on, he was not a force to be reckoned with. Jabez tilted his head forward as he took a few steps forward, maneuvering through the darkness of the forest, inching his way toward the female, ready to demand her to tell him what the hell she wanted in his forest. It didn’t take him very long to notice an outline of a female – like him she seemed to blend fairly well in the forest, but he was no fool.
He paused. Holding his head high to his full height of 7’8” he wanted to make sure she knew that he was the Alpha of this pack and she better show respect. He didn’t care how smug she was, how ‘bad’ or ‘evil’ she was, Jabez was not scared of a living soul on this earth and he wasn’t going to crumble in front of a small pathetic looking female. Jabez bared his fangs as he growled at her, he was annoyed that she just walked in here, it was his territory, one should not enter another’s territory without permission…well most of this attitude came from him being in a rotten mood.
“What is it that you dare doing in my forest?” He asked her in a dead tone. His eyes were narrowed down as he glared at her. “Are you blind to notice that this is my territory?”

Ketsurui calmly turned her gaze towards Jabez. "I seek acceptance into Azrael," Ketsurui responded in a rather flat tone, "I go by Ketsurui... I assume you are the alpha of these lands I've heard so much about... So much fear is put into the mentioning of your name," She was silent for a few moments before adding, "But I wanted to see what was the cause of that with my own two eyes." Ketsurui stared directly into his eyes, looking rather... There was no way to describe it... It was like all the darkness in her soul had poured itself out into her eyes, even the one that was milky white... Nothing else. There was still the smug, slightly insane smile upon her lips. There was nothing but pure evil in her... There was no secret to that. He wasn't going to crumble in foront of her. She wasn't even going to chip in front of him.
So what if she was smaller? If she wanted to, she could be more than a nuisance for him. Much more than a mere nuisance. She was immortal... And strong... Very strong. The wolf who had lived through thousands of years... Been tainted by a demon. Eaten her own pups.. Killed so many...
(will finish later. I go to go.)

"The beast lives out of the raging storm in the dead of night. The ravenous, blood-sick creatures searches for it's sacrifice," sang a voice that belonged to a creature that was truly demented. The voice did not belong to a frilly, beautiful female, nor did it belong to a brawny, handsome male. It did, however, belong to a male; one that was sick, twisted, and incredibly demented. He was a wolf unlike any other, a wolf that could care less about nearly everyone and anyone. He respected no one. He trusted no one. He didn't hold back on anyone. Of course, there were always exception to these rules he had for himself. He couldn't get away with back-talking his master, who happened to be Satan himself. Then there was Jabez, the alpha of the pack this godforsaken wolf had decided to join. Yes, this wolf had severe issues and was set on destroying everyone and everything, but he knew when he needed to cool his act.
"Through the hideous darkness, it lurches," the voice continued, this time seeming to grow closer with each step the wolf took, "driven by death itself." The foul stench of burning flesh hovered in the air as the wolf drew further into the forest, burning any and every small creature that dared to step across his path. Their pained cries delighted him so, for they weren't just burning to death - they were melting, too. Within the flames that this wolf released was acid, the amounts ranging from just a teaspoon to a dose that could wipe out an entire pack of wolves; it was something this wolf liked to use and he used it as often as he could get away with it, which really wasn't a problem.
"Only the satisfaction of slaughter will cause it to return to the darkness from which it came," the voice continued as the wolf slithered through the nearly darkened forest like a snake. It was hard to see what this wolf looked like due to the very little light that surrounded itself within the forest, but a glimpse of the male was caught every once in awhile. He was large, extremely large, but not as large as the alpha, nor was he as powerful. Muscles were visible each time one of his large paws hit the soft ground below. They were clearly more visible in his legs and chest than anywhere else. His fur was as dark as the night sky, though a thick line of crimson red ran along the top of his hard skull, going down to the very end of his back. The fur stuck up in a pointed way, making it seem like he had a 'mohawk' as a human would say. His eyes were a fiery red, bright and wild looking. There was a Jester-like scar across each eye, something he had done to himself.
Movement to the right of him caught his eye and he froze in his steps, a malicious grin spreading across his maw. Pearly white fangs glinted in the dim light and his eyes grew bright with delight. He looked as if he had gone mad. "What's this?" he wondered out loud, his voice sounding maniacal. His ears twitched quickly, swiveling around front as he heard the voices of others. One sounded familiar, undoubtedly belonging to Jabez, while the other sounded new. "Hm," he snorted, fighting the urge to laugh insanely, "to go or not to go." It wasn't a hard decision, really; his mind had been made up when he heard the voices. Igniting his paws so they were merely just flames, he made his way to where Jabez and another wolf, apparently female, were. "Oh, hello there, Jabez," Diablo spoke, no longer acting like a death-crazed fool. "I hope I'm not interrupting. If I am, I'll take my leave." He nodded once, stopping just a few feet away from the two. He looked to the female, but said nothing as he didn't feel like he had to.

Jabez didn’t really seem impressed that she knew him. His name was painted across the world in blood. He caused much dismay in his days of youth – however that was a long time ago, a dim memory of his life that he had today. Back then if you happened to look at him the wrong way he would strike you down. He had no mercy, no compassion for whomever he ate or slaughtered. It wasn’t as if he had gotten soft though. He would still kill in a heartbeat, but that thrill, that excitement of a kill had diminished a long time ago. He was still short-tempered, cruel, sarcastic and all of his other ‘wonderful’ features, except he was much more relaxed now –more with his pack members then anything- but deep down inside he still wanted power, but he wasn’t sure if it was worth it or not.
“You wish to join my pack?” He asked her. He had to admit he could tell she was strong and had done some damage to the world in her life time. He had never heard her name, but then again he never did pay attention to gossip or any of that nonsense. He snorted slightly and rolled his eyes. He wasn’t afraid of her, but he respected those with powers and he could tell she was powerful – but he wasn’t quite sure how powerful. “What use could you be to my pack?” He asked her. He wasn’t just going to let her join; she would have to prove herself.
That is when Jabez heard Diablo’s voice. He could sense he was near before, but ignored it knowing Diablo would probably come over here anyway. Jabez gradually tore his attention from the female and looked at Diablo. “Diablo…” Diablo was one of the few wolves that Jabez respected. Jabez knew that him and Diablo were probably around the same level when it came to power and attitude – of course Diablo was different from Jabez, he still had that drive to kill. Jabez shook his head. “No, your not interrupting anything important.” He said as his black glare flickered over back to the female.

"Greetings," Ketsurui murmured to Diablo before adding to Jabez in a rather clear voice, " I have always had a gift for the art of the assassain. Rooting out those who... are either weak, or ignorant enough to not realize they are being stalked. Fire is something I have come to learn to use as a weapon... Something to wreak havoc with. I have long since lost my concience, and my shame. I feel no guilt, no mercy. I'd gladly be the executioner of the weak..." Ketsurui paused, then continued, "I see no evil in shedding the blood of the 'innocent'. I am not unfamiliar with battle, and I am self-sufficient."
Ketsurui paused again, letting this all sink in. A few moments ticked by that seemed like hours, atleast to her. Then she added, in a very, very soft voice, so that it was only audible to Jabez, "I can be your greatest ally, or one of your most powerful enemies. That choice, is up to you." Ketsurui let her wings spread out a bit as she said this for effect, showing their eighteen foot span. Her muscles rippled under her pelt, and her eyes gleamed to show just how much she had meant those words.
There was a reason her name meant tears of blood. There was no doubt about that. Ketsurui was not going to let herself be dogged by anyone, even this great male. If he decided he wanted to turn her away.... So be it. She would find someplace else to have her fun. And you know what? Just for being so ignorant... So... So foolish, stupid. Just for turning her away, and making her his enemy...
He would pay. Oh, how he would pay if he did that! As she had said... Ketsurui had no problem spilling blood.

"Oh, well that is wonderful," Diablo said in response to Jabez, fighting another urge to laugh like a mongrel. His bright red eyes, appearing even brighter as if they were ignited by some unknown force, drifted over to the female that was before Jabez once more, though they held no interest. He took note of the fact that she had spoken to him, but ignored it and let his attention fall elsewhere, still feeling that he had no reason to speak to this loner he did not know. Only if Jabez told him to would he say something. As said before, he could care less about other wolves and would not hold back.
Vaguely, he wondered if Jabez would accept this fiend, but what did he care? Oh, right. He was the Gamma and a member. He got the impression this female seemed to think she was big and bad; maybe he was wrong, maybe he was right. It didn't make a difference to him. He also got the feeling that there was a wolf out there, one that would seem more powerful and threatening to Jabez then this female, but what did he know? The voice of the female came and went as Diablo was only paying half attention, letting his thoughts take over the better part of him. A wicked grin spread across his maw and his pointed tongue stuck out partially as he swept it over his pearly white fangs, thinking of something that was unheard of. Whatever it was caused his broad shoulders to shake in silent laughter, though he quickly snapped out of his own little fantasy world and turned his attention back to the other two.

Jabez listened to the female speak and remained silent the whole time. He truthfully was only half paying attention to what she said. Her words reminded him back in his youth when he caused destruction and harm whenever and wherever he had a chance. However those days where way behind him, now it was just a burden upon his shoulders, killing just left an empty feeling instead of left him with that thrill – something that only other murderers could possibly begin to understand. He pressed his ears back upon his skull as he listened. When she was done talking he nodded his head – though it absolutely met nothing- he pondered whether if he should let her join or not, she seemed powerful enough and he did need more members.
“You may join.” He said in a ice cold voice. He was not threatened by her at all. Jabez only had two wolves that he would ever respect and that was his father and his uncle (whom he only met one) those where the only two wolves that Jabez wouldn’t talk back too, though he had a feeing that this female would gladly take his father on thinking she was some big scary wolf. The thought caused a smirk to come across his maw. He highly doubted she could even be a match for her father…as for himself…he wasn’t quite sure. She might be somewhat of a challenge, but she wouldn’t be able to kill him, at least she had to destroy his heart and that was easier said then done – seeing as his heart was not in his body.
Jabez turned his attention over to Diablo; he knew he made a good choice when he picked him to be his Gamma. “What you think, Diablo? Think this squirt is as big and tough she makes herself out to be?” He said with a small laugh.

"I don't know, Boss," Diablo replied, letting his fiery red eyes sweep over Ketsurui's appearance. Sure, she may look like she was all that, but was she really? He had come across one too many wolves who had believed they were the best of the best, but they were proven wrong. A smirk tugged at the corner of his maw and a low chuckled slipped through his gleaming white fangs. "Maybe we can put her on probation or something, though I trust your judgment," he said with a short nod, arching a brow in Ketsurui's direction. "I'm sure you would be able to take care of her if she proves to be a fake." He finally pulled his gaze away and let his snake-like tongue sweep over his lips as the scent of blood hit him.
"Yeah, sure. Why not?" he said absentmindedly as if he had thought it over. "There are more packs, it seems, and we could use some new trainees." He grinned widely at no one in particular, letting his thoughts take over for a moment of time. He said nothing more, knowing well enough that even if he didn't want this female to join, he couldn't stop it. He had no problems though. Maybe she would turn out to be useful. Who knew? The actions of Diablo were not missed by Ketsurui, and she felt a surge of dislike for the male run through her. He was laughing... at her. She narrowed her eyes ever so slightly at each word the Gamma and Alpha exchanged. So... She was a squirt, eh? Did they honestly think she was bluffing? Pah! She had taken down whole packs of wolves.. Why should one wolf be that much more difficult? However, she wasn't going to do anything... Not yet, at least. But the next time that Gamma laughed at her... It was then that it clicked. He had as much bloodlust as she. Hrm... Perhaps it had been something else... but it was still highly doubted on Ketsurui's part.
"Size isn't everything..." Ketsurui stated cooly, then added, "A keen mind can beat raw brawn anyday, anytime...." I of all wolves should know. The last part was spoken only in thought. Soon... Soon her time would come. There was no doubt in Ketsurui's mind. If these wolves were stupid enough to underestimate her due to size, then so be it. They would soon find out how wrong they were. Oh... How wrong they were, if they were to do that.... Size wasn't everything. The taste of blood, to live for blood... And to have the mind to fulfill that taste... To not let yourself cave into weakness... Now that was everything.

Jabez smirked at what Diablo said, but turned his head as the female began to speak once more. Jabez knew size wasn’t everything, what did she take him, as some kind of fool? He narrowed his eyes, she probably suspected that is what he meant when he called her a squirt – size was only half of it. He grinded his fangs together as he waited until she was finished talking. “Are you done yet?” He asked her with a raised brow. He shifted his weight as he dug his sharp claws into the ground. If this female thought that she could beat him. She was dead wrong. Perhaps she was powerful, but Jabez wouldn’t let himself beaten so easily – even more so by a female. “I know size isn’t everything.” Jabez said with a roll of his eyes. Of course what could he say? He was huge, but he knew his power didn’t come from there. Trapper was at least 2 or 3 feet smaller then him and was skinnier and they managed to kill each other. “Can’t handle a joke can you?” He said with a sigh. “If you are as powerful as you say you are, then you can join, but don’t think for one minute you’ll get the better hand of me.” He brought himself close to her, his pitch black eyes stared at her with a bitterness. “Do you believe I would honestly let you, a female, defeat me? I don’t think so.”[/blockquote][/size]

Diablo remained completely and utterly silent as Ketsurui and Jabez spoke. He had said what he wanted to say and if he was asked to, he would say more. His attention was only with the other two halfway as memories from the past clouded before his fiery eyes. Of course, they consisted of much chaos and destruction, something he was quite good at causing, but they were not good memories. These made him want to get out there and fight some more, to take the lives on the innocent and not so innocent, but he was no longer allowed to do that; not while being a member of a pack. Yes, he could easily kill rabbits and other game that huddled together throughout Azrael, but where was the fun in that? It was too easy, too boring. He needed some excitement, but he wasn't sure where he was going fine that.
His gaze flickered between Ketsurui and Jabez, vaguely wondering if they would end up ripping each other's throats out one day. The thought of that caused an unstoppable laugh to come up and slip through Diablo's gleaming white fangs. He stopped quickly, not wanting to mean any disrespect toward Jabez, not even knowing if that would offend him in the first place. It was then he realized he had placed four large dents in the ground where he stood, having forgotten his paws were lit with acidic flames. "Whoops...," he muttered to himself, letting the flames die down to wear his paws were back to normal. "My mistake."

(I think I'm going to take Ketsurui out of this thread before she kills someone.)
Ketsurui felt a nearly unsupressable rage ring through her veins as Jabez made the comment about FEMALES. She could barely stop herself from letting a nearby bush burst out into flame... Instead, it started to singe the leaves, a glowing ember around the edges. There was also a strong smell of sulphur in the air around her. Her eyes narrowed dangerously into slit. Ketsurui felt herself battle the urge to rip Jabez's throat out right there.. Right then and there. Stupid wolf. Stupid, stupid wolf. He had just made such a fatal mistake right then...
And now Ketsurui couldn't touch him.
"I," Ketsurui announced stiffly, "am going to leave to learn my way around the packlands." The female turned abruptly, and trotted off, her tail rather high in the air despite her retreat. She still had her wings stretched out, and quickly snapped them in to avoid some serious pain later on. Stupid males. They would never understand... Well, it wasn't their fault they could only use half their brain. Though they probably actually only used about... what? A sixteenth of what they could use? Ketsurui laughed softly to herself at the thought....
And then she was gone... Off to "explore".

A smirk tugged at Jabez’s maw as he watched her leave. It amused him to see her get pissed of so easily. Yeah, what Jabez said was almost true – he didn’t think females were stronger then men. Because even evil females somehow end up having ‘feelings’ Jabez rolled his eyes and grunted. “Good riddance.” He mumbled under his breath as he shifted his weight. She was making a big mistake. She was leaving the best thing out there, none of the other packs could camper to his – his was on a whole new level – or so he believed.
“Woman,” he said to particularly no one, but he was looking at Diablo. Females had to be bitches, he couldn’t see how many male could actually handle being with them. Jabez snorted. Well, he would never fall for any female [lol yesh you will Jabez] if it was the last thing he did.
