--> Dasher {Moving F O R W A R D}
100 years.
The time past by quickly for Dasher, it almost seemed like just yesterday. The time for him seem to freeze while everything began to change all around him. He watched the Nozomi pack break up – and then came forth the kingdoms and then the packs. Dasher didn’t really care however, he wasn’t really part of the pack to begin with, and that was until now. There had been several changes over the years – except for one thing that remained the same. He was with Akina. He had been with her for a whole glorious century. He wouldn’t want it any other way. Dasher sighed; he remembered the time quite a while ago when he thought he was going to lose Akina. He wanted to be with her forever, and the thought of being without her, even for the slightest second would be horrible. Luckily though his father had convinced the Goddess of Life to give Akina a few more centuries to live with Dasher, that had to be the scariest moment of his life – but now that was all over. He no longer had to worry about that, he had Akina until they both died – and even that wouldn’t stop him from being with her.
So much has happened since he and Akina had gotten together. It both seemed like an eternity ago and yet sometimes it felt like just yesterday. He remembered the day clearly, however. He was the one who met Akina when she wished to join their pack; afterwards they began to spend quite some time together before Dasher fell in love. He was quite young then and quite shy so naturally she practically made him say he loved her. Then they became mates, Akina gave birth to two beautiful pups, they were killed, Akina was kidnapped, roaming around, meeting up once again – they’ve been through both good and bad, but they stuck it out. Dasher wouldn’t want to be anywhere else except by her side. Dasher sat down upon the edge of the water and looked at his reflection. His memories went back before he met Akina – back when where he and his brother caused so much trouble for their pack. It was their fault everyone was dead…and yet…sadly Dasher really didn’t regret it no more. He was sorry for what he done; he still felt terrible…but if that never happened then he probably would have never met Akina.
Dasher smiled softly. He was content with his life. If he were to die right now – he wouldn’t have a problem with that. He had lived his life, he was over a hundred years old…and he had several more centuries to live before he actually could become old and die. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. It was so peaceful out here, he liked the pack. It was calm and gentle, it didn’t seem like any bad things would happen here. Of course he was one to make sure he didn’t jinx himself. He knew something bad could happen, but it felt too peaceful. Like evil wolves couldn’t come here. He believed him and Akina choose the right pack to live in out of the other three light packs –excluding the light kingdom- Dasher was never apart of the Nozomi pack, but he felt they should at least join a pack – otherwise why stay here? Dasher wasn’t really one to be a loner for a very long time – well he has, but he always liked to be part of a pack, be part of a family. He was used to being surrounded by those he cared about. Now he had Akina…he felt kind of empty not having his mother or Koder here, but one out of three is better then nothing.
Sometimes Dasher wandered where his brother was now. What about his mother? Dasher had a pit in his stomach when he thought about her, he knew there was probably no way she was alive. It had been a hundred years and his father said that his mother was just your average wolf – she had a somewhat extended life because of her spiritual powers – but other then that she had a normal life span. Koder though, Dasher knew his elder brother was alive somewhere. Who knows he could be closer then he thought. Dasher and Koder were pretty close, despite the fact that no one would be able to tell they were brothers, they were complete opposites, but Dasher and Koder never really cared. Opposites attack, right? Dasher dug his claws into the ground. He just hoped his brother was doing fine…and his father. He wandered where he was right now. Dasher was glad to know his father wasn’t killed, but it’s strange, even after all these years it really hadn’t sunk in yet. However Dasher knows he owes his father everything – because if it wasn’t for him. Dasher would be all alone now.

"Hey!" The voice, clearly belonging to a female, was soft and melodious, though it held an annoyed tone. The sound of paws hitting the ground rang throughout the silence that surrounded the lake as the figure of a female wolf came into view. She was small in size and very slender, hardly any muscle covering her slim body, but she was not unhealthy. Her fur was the purest of white, as bright as a fresh blanket of snow on a bitter winters day. The color was tainted by a blue star, brighter than the sky on a clear day, located on her left hindquarter. Beneath her warm, steel blue eyes were three dots of the same color, though they were hardly noticeable. She was a beauty in some ways, but wasn't that only skin deep? She was not perfect, not in the slightest way.
"Hey!" the female barked again, struggling to catch her breath as she ran up to Dasher. "You know, not everyone is gifted with speed," she panted, sides rising and falling as she slowed her pace, waiting for her racing heart to settle. Having finally caught up with him, she dropped down flat on her stomach, letting an exagerrated sigh escape from her parted maw. She was still growing used to the fact that she had a few more centuries to live, a few more centuries to be with the one she loved. There wasn't anything to complain about really. Had she of died like she should have, she would have been left alone in the spirit world to fend for herself. But then again, what was there to worry about after one had past on to the next life? She didn't know and she wasn't going to question it any further.
"You gonna snap out of your little fantasy world?" Akina asked, pushing her small frame up in an effort to shake loose the debris that had caught itself between strands of her fur. Head bent down sideways, she brought her right paw up to scratch behind her ear absentmindedly, drifting in an out of reality for a brief amount of time. When she was finished, she brought her gaze back to Dasher, vaguely wondering what it was that he was thinking of. "Hm," she hummed, narrowing her eyes as a mischievous look flickered across her expression. "HEY!" she said again for a third time, this time saying it louder as she roughly head-butted him in the side. If this didn't get his attention, she didn't know what would.

--> Dasher {Moving F O R W A R D}
Dasher wondered if he could stay like this forever – hm wouldn’t that be nice. To be able to freeze time to a particular moment, like this one for instance. It was calm and sincere. There were no problems; he and Akina had plenty of time together, what more could he ask for? His life might not have been perfect – but nothing could spoil this moment. This moment was priceless. He closed his deep crimson red eyes and sighed. Too bad time really couldn’t stand still, and then there would no need to worry about what laid ahead. He wasn’t particularly afraid of dying or anything bad, he just didn’t want anything to ruin this moment.
“Huh?” Dasher felt something or someone knock into him. He shook his head of his thoughts and turned to see Akina. He blinked a few times as he started at her like an idiot. He hadn’t realized she was here…he probably spaced out, when he did that he really wasn’t paying much attention to what was around him. He tilted his head; he wandered how long she was here. “Er, sorry about that,” he said as he turned and looked back upon the lake for a few moments. He took a deep breath before he turned and looked back to Akina.

Akina blinked incredulously. "Sorry?" she questioned, arching a brow. "Sorry, he says!" She jumped up and quickly leapt a few feet away before turning around to face him. "You don't sound very sorry to me," she stated, the mischievous look from just moments ago gleaming in her eyes. A thoughtful frown made its way across her maw and she huffed silently. She sound have expected this from him, but what could she do about it? "I bet you'd be really sorry if I just suddenly dropped dead right in front of you," she spoke, half smirking, half frowning. "What would poor ol' Dasher do then?" she questioned, pushing herself back up as she turned away, tossing her nose in the air as if she was better than everyone else.
Her paws took her toward the lake, pausing every few seconds as if she were debating on heading over to the lake. She knew what could happen if she did. Instead, she stopped about halfway before sitting down again, clearly making an attempt to ignore Dasher. Of course she was only just putting on an act; it was something she did quite often.

“Hmmm...”
[/b]Dasher said as he stretched out his body as he listened to Akina talk. Well, perhaps he was still out of it, but it wasn’t like it was his fault or anything. “I am sorry, I was just distracted I suppose.” More like spacing out into another world. Then again whenever Dasher thought of something deeply he often got into a trance state which is pretty hard to get out of him – and once you did – he still isn’t completely there. He shook his head trying to get his mind clear as he tried to pay attention to what Akina had said next. “I would have a celebration of course.” Dasher said playfully, which was the same ol’ Dasher. “Yes, a huge party. I think anyone would get sick of you after a hundred years, wouldn’t you say?” Dasher and Akina were always like this, poking fun at each other, it wasn’t as if Dasher really met when he said and it was quite clear because he was smirking. "Hmph," Akina snorted with a roll of her darkening steel blue eyes. Her nose tipped higher into the air as if she were now insulted rather than stuck up and scowled faintly. "Typical male," she muttered under her breath as she flashed a glare in Dasher's direction. The time reminded her of the last litter of pups she had and how he had paid so little attention to them because of his father. It had aggravated her to no end then, and it was beginning to now, but she wouldn't let herself get upset over something so stupid. Though she did wonder why it took him so long to surface from his own little world, but she wasn't going to question it any further.
She barked a laugh as she heard what he had said, shaking her head as if she wasn't surprised. "Yes, I knew you would do something like that," she said, knowing well enough that he was only kidding. "You're just waiting for me to drop dead so you can move on to the next pretty little female wolf you see, soon forgetting all about me as she fills you with much happiness and joy." She cast a fake, but fiery gaze, in his direction and turned her head away. "Then everyone can live happily ever after."

Dasher smiled softly at what she said, and he too couldn’t help but chuckle. He nodded his head. “Yes, that is my plan.” He stated proudly giving her a smug look. Dasher would never be able to actually do that, even think of being with someone else other then Akina just seemed…wrong. “That is exactly what I’m going to do, and you figured it out all on your own too!” He said with a small laugh. “Hmmm, well everyone would have a happy ending…except for you because you’d be dead.”
Dasher told her as he turned his attention back to the lake for a moment. He wandered what would happen in the future, would they stay here for the rest of their days? Or would they leave? He wasn’t sure. He turned his attention back to Akina, so long he was with her, he didn’t care where he was.

"You say that like I wasn't smart enough to figure out such a simple thing," Akina replied dryly, arching a brow at the lake as she kept her gaze away from his. She gave an exaggerated sigh as she let her attention drift away momentarily before speaking again. "As if no one knew what you had in mind," she spoke quietly, frowning shortly. "You underestimate me, you know," she said, turning her gaze back to his. "Hm. I don't even know why I put up with you." She would have made a face, but she wanted to be taken seriously. Of course, this was never possible. Not with him.
"Oh well. Maybe I'll just up and leave you one day to find myself a nice male that will actually respect me." This time, she did make a face. "Everyone knows you don't." Scrunching her nose, she pushed herself up and wandered over to the lake, dropping down to her stomach once she was at the very edge of the water.

--> Dasher {Moving F O R W A R D}
“Who is this ‘everyone’ you keep speaking of?” Dasher asked with a tilt of his head. He watched as she walked over to the lake and laid down. He looked over to the lake while he spoke. “There is really nobody else we speak too.” This was true, perhaps once in a while they would speak with someone, but it wasn’t like they had a bunch of close friends. He shook his head. “I don’t disrespect you, I donno where you are getting all these lies from.” He said with a soft sight pretended that he was upset with what she had said.
“You’ll go find a nice male? Hmmm, really now, I would have waited until you died, but you go ahead and leave me now. That beaks my heart,” He said in an over dramatic tone, which was kind of funny coming from a guy. He took a deep breath as he watched her, waiting what she would say. He wondered if sometimes she didn't like him joking around with her. It had just became a habit after all these years.

"What?" she asked, turning her head to glance over her shoulder. "You don't think I converse with others? Do I have to be with you twenty four hours a day, seven days a week?" she asked, sounding only a little annoyed. She stretched out and yawned idly, making herself look like an animal rug a human might own in their home. She remained silent as he spoke, listening only half the time. Half a smirk crossed her maw as he said it would 'break his heart' which made it seem as if that would please her. Of course, she had no intention of actually leaving him. He knew that. "Yes, I would find myself a nice, strong, and handsome male. One that would take care of me and pay attention to me and give me whatever I wanted!" she said with a firm nod, fighting the sudden urge to laugh. "Maybe then I can have my happily ever after."

--> Dasher {Moving F O R W A R D}
Dasher sighed and shook his head. “I never said you couldn’t have friends, now did I? I just said we really didn’t speak to others, anyway there aren’t many wolves in the pack in the first place.” Dasher said with a shrug of his shoulders as he watched her. It was true, he had seen the same wolves again and again there hadn’t been many in the pack when they decided to join – and even now there was still only a handful of members. He shifted his weight as he stretched out his body and yawned. The sun was still pretty high up in the sky, but Dasher was beginning to get a bit drowsy.
“If you were really going to leave me, to find this so called ‘nice’ fellow then you would have done it a long time ago.” Dasher said with a smirk. “I doubt that you would actually do that. You couldn’t leave me and you know it perfectly well.” Dasher said with a flicker of his tail as he stared at her.
