A small little pup walked uneasly through the valley. She stumbled on some of the flowers. When the youngster found some large flowers to cover her bright white and black fur, she layed down in the grass covered by the flowers. 'Why did my parents leave me like this. Leave me alone to die?' She sunk down deeper into the flowers. She burried her nose in the dirt so her purple eyes didn't show. Tiny and unwanted, that's what this little pup thought of herself. Her parents never wanted her, but maybe some day she'll have a happy family. Some day Tam will be happy.

She stopped, lifting her nose as she sniffed the breeze. This had to be it, the Nahorai pack. Shinrin had passed through here before, and recognized the scent. She lifted her nose higher, trying to sniff out a particular scent, the scent of her neice, Phantom, or rather VEnom now, but the thing was, it had been ahundred years since she had got a wiff of her scent, so it wasnt going to be this easy to find her. She would have to search the packlands, and be careful not to run into the alpha, though she was always good at sneaking past an entire pack, getting information, doing what she needed to do, and getting out without anyone even knowing she was there.
She had been trotting through teh flowers when she saw something small move among the colors. She was sure it was just a small animal, but her curiosity go to her. She walked over to the "animal" raising a brow when it was a pup that she found. She glanced around, hoping her parents werent around, but she smelt no other scent. So why was this pup here alone? Shinrin was suddently reminded of the pup she had raised almost fifty years ago. He was alone too. Shinrin frowned. She carefully padded up to the pup. "Hello.." She spoke softly. "Where are your parents little one?"

Tam's voice was quiet, maybe even a little weak. "I don't know. The left me 30 moons ago*." Her little body was hudled into a ball, just incase this wolf was a threat to her. She opened her purple eyes and looked up at the wolf. Man she was tall, ok compared to a pup. Tam was afraid, who wouldn't be if you've almost been killed before? "What do you want?" Tam's eyes darted around then back to the fae. ((Sorry that sucked.. I'm kinda outta it right now))

Shinrin saw the fear in the pup's eyes. Another pup...left alone... She ducked down to make herself small and appear less frightening. Shinrin remembered being left alone as a pup, but there had been nobody there to help her. Her family was afraid of her, but she did nothing wrong...she, and her three sisters had been scattered and abandoned, just because of a stupid prophecy. But that was a while ago, and Shinrin had gotten over.
"You poor thing...all alone.." SHe spoke in a much sweeter tone around the pup. "I want to help you. Will you let me? Let me help you?" She would help the pup no matter what, but she wanted her to know she could trust her. "My name is Shinrin. Whats your name?"

"My.." Tam paused for a second to think if she wanted to answer. She desisding it was all right before starting again. "My name is Death of a Thousand Drowning Moons. I just go by Tam though." She slowly stood up. Her moon markings shone brightly in the sun. The exact markings that made her mom leave. Tam looked up with her purple eyes again the same purple eyes that made her mother run. "I... I'll let you help... me."

Shinrin gave the pup a sweet smile. "I like Tam. So, how old are you Tam?" Shinrin asked gently, still trying to keep on a conversation of trust. She pulled the dirty, worn sack off her shoulders. When your a wanderer, you sometimes need something to hold things. She pulled out a half eaten rabbit that she had caught just before coming. The pup looked hungry. "Are you hungry?" Shinrin asked nicely, shoving the rabbit to her. "Please eat."
(( man this sux XD my posts will get better when the two get closer XD ))

"Not even 180 moons*." Tam looked at the rabbit then at Shinrin. Then she looked back at the rabbit. With out another hesitation she gobbled it down, what she haten't ate in 2 weeks. She looked at Shinrin again before walking over to her and rubbing her head on Shinrin's side. "Thank you." Shinrin brought the love, careing, and happiness that Tam needed. Tam's wings unfolded streched out then folded back at her sides. "Thank you for makeing me feel wanted." *6 months

Shinrin looked at Tam with sincerity. It seemed like this was a Kyael moment all over again. She put her gentle paw around Tam, pulling her into a small wolfish hug. "I don't know why your parents would give you up, but...if you let me...I can take care of you." She thought back to Kyael. She had rescue him from a river. His father thought him useless, and threw him in to kill him. Shinrin took him in, nurtured him, raised him. She watched him grow, then she watched him as he found the one he loved, she watched him raise a family, then she watched him die, peacefully, happy. But not only did Shinrin make him happy, he made Shinrin happy. It seemed like it was happening all over again, and Shinrin really didnt mind.

Tam looked up at Shinrin with love. Although this was just like before... Her father cudled her this way and look where he left her. Alone, and to fend for herself. But Tam felt different about Shinrin.
Love was all Tam needed. Love and comfort. "I know why my parent's left me. I hold a powerful curse. The curse of the Moons. Tam didn't feel like explaining so she left it at that. After all when night would come she'd have the dumb power to coup with.

Shinrin actually let out a small laugh. "I guess we have alot more in common then we realize." She looked up at the stars and smiled, then looked back down at Tam. "Just because something is powerful and your born with it, doesnt make it a curse." She stroked the pups fur with her paw, then gave her cheek a little lick. "Look, we even both have moon markings." Shinrin chuckled a bit. Then her nose caught a wiff of a faintly familiar smell. She rose her head and smiled. Phantom...VEnom, was near. She hoped it would turn out to be a good family reuinion.
She grinned the same old evil grin as she buried the object under the large tree. She would be near invisible in this dark because of her black fur, if it werent for the bright purple markings and wings, one angel, one demon. It would just be another part of her evil plot. This was so oblivious to VEnom's evil. She thought it funny. Suddently, she caught a strong scent on the wind. It was a familiar one, but she couldnt quite figure it out. Her teeth bared, she glanced around in the night, but hadnt seen anything yet. But if who ever it is gets too close....

Life had been treating her well, it had. Devastation was a happy wolf, to say the least - a little too happy. She, with her yearning for peace, was simply not fit to be in a family like hers. It didn't conk out correctly, no, not at all. But that was easy to get past. Devie had long ago realized her potential as an activist, and had followed this path in life, much to the disgust of her father - but, hell, he was dead now.
Daffodil clenched tightly between rows of teeth, she quite literally pranced, of all forms of movement, as she maneuvered her body past trees and bushes and the like. Being the daft wolf she was, she plain and simple did not pick up her sister's scent and, without realizing it, laid herself down behind a bush nearby.

VEnom glanced around sniffing the area. her ears perked to a sound bhind the bushes, and her nose soon caught up with the scent of her sister. She let out a small growl, then stormed up to her good for nothing sister. "Devastation! How long have you been watching me!?" She snarled. She was always so paranoid with getting caught, especially with her goody sister.
Not too far away, Shinrin had caught where the scent was coming from. She looked down at Tam and smiled. "Tam, would you like to meet my sister's pups?" She had forgotten that they wouldnt be pups anymore, no far from it. She was actually still suprized that they were alive at all.
(( Dx so horrible, bad post ))

Several yellow petals clinging to her sticky tongue, Devie responded flatly, "I wasn't," and swallowed the remainder of the daffodil, leaving the stem, which protuded from her mouth in a fashion similar to a... a wolfy cigar. Flower eating had become one of her little personality quirks since she'd realized that they were oh-so-tasty. "Chill, hun," she rolled over lazily, sneezing. "You're such a spazz," she added as an afterthought, although in reality she really had no clue what the hell her sibling had been doing.

VEnom turned up her nose at her sister's weird eating habits. They disguisted her, flowers were bad enough without knowing that somebody actually related to her was eating them. Gross. At being called "hun" and "spazz," VEnom let out a low growl. "Dont tell me what to do sister! You waste your days eating flowers and laying around, when there is so much to do!" She let out a snort, turning her head away from Devie. "I never understand you Devastation."

"Don't forget chasing birds!" Devie reminded with a cheerily sarcastic tone. "You're not s'pposed to understand me. I'm my own wolf, yeah?" Her tail flicked gently, but it sent a small pile of leaves flying into the air. "Whoo, ecolove."
In all of five seconds, Devastation was on her feet. "The name's 'Devie', hun," she cocked a brow. "Learn it." A brief flicker of doubt overshadowed her thoughts; she knew her sharp tongue would get her in trouble some day and that she was, to put it mildly, not impressive in the least, but words flew out of her mouth like bullets - lethal and quick.
