Sharp, undening claws hit the side of a large dark figure. The creature let out a long cry as he slowly fell to the ground in killer pain. He looked up with one bright green eye at the other creature, "Blood Back" He managed to say in a grooling tone as he slowly got weaker and weaker, soon loosing all contact with earth.
The male looked at the sky and padded away, looking at the carcass behind him. He had a small grin on his face, he had done sucsessfully in his mission from Hunter, the alpha. He was a well respected pack member, though young, he was a great warrior with a big heart. He was only 2 and didnt know much, but was learning alot from Hunter.
Blood Back looked around, it was spring and he was content where he was. Only a year ago had he run away from his older brother, Scar. Scar had taken him from his parents and tried to kill him when he left and headed twords the sunset until he came here to be acepted into the pack and raised with Hunter. Hunter had no offspring and thought it would be good for him to learn how for when he did have pups.
As he approached a large chocolate brown male, Blood Back straightened up. "Hunter..." He said in almost a stammer, "I'm back." He said and raised his head. Hunter grinned, "Thank you...." He said, "You may leave now." Blood Back smiled warmly and walked off. He never showed disrespect often, and was pretty obidient.
Soft earth dented in under a large male approaching a dark corner of the forest where a white male sat. Blood Back smiled and sat next to Karoku. "Its Beautiful out, isn't it? Or inleast to whom take the time to notice such." Karoku said in a soft tone. He looked out into the horizen. "Yes it is. I have always loved days like this." He said, lifting his paw and knawing on the nails. "Karoku, I am sorry to tell you, but the hunting has been terrible. Seeing as you are an elder, you will be supplied with fresh meat as often as we can. But still, that might not be as often as before. The hunters are trying as hard as they can, but soon the scouts will have to go lookiung for land where there is food, so the hunters can go there." Blood Back said in a serious tone. "I may have to go looking for food with the hunters, too."
Karoku sighed, "I have been seeing less large creatures latley, but there are plenty of small animals." He said. Karoku had been part of the pack for some 13 years. As he got older, there was always food until the last year, where all of the food started dissapearing. He didnt exactly know why, but he was thinking that another pack of wolves had been nearby, eating their food. He had seen some pawprints that were too big to be any of this packs'. Since he had poor hearing, he hadnt herd anything either.
"Shhh, you idiot!" Said an misty grey male, his coat unseen in the darkness. "What?" Whaled a smaller pup that trudged behind the male. "Look!" Screamed a taller fae, her tail was torn up. She had just been attacked a little while ago by a large male and a pup. She was following the two, for she didnt want them to get another. The large male suddenly grinned. He turned around, and took, slow, heavy steps twords the fae. When he got head-to-head with her, he took a heavy paw and swatted her across the head. The fae fell to the ground not sure what happened next, only the sharp, undenied claws diging into her back.

Blood Back was at the river, takeing in small sipps of water when he seen a tall fae approaching him. He looked back and seen how beat up she was. "Fire Angel! Whats wrong? What happened?" He said. Fire Angel was just barely younger than him. They were close friends. Fire Angel paused "I-I dont know....." She said, in a split tone. "I dont remember..." Fire Angel looked at the ground. "Well, you sure dont look to great." He said. The fae had cuts everywhere and her ear had holes in it. Blood Back was surprised she could still stand. He noticed how some cuts were fresher than others, which must of meant she was out for a while while something attacked her. "Do you know who or what did this?" Blood Back asked.
