"Yeah, I know...," Abaddon muttered quietly, noting her expressions. He let his gaze drop to the ground as he laughed humorlessly to himself. "I should have kept my stupid maw shut, right?" It wasn't a question that needed an answer. He wasn't sure if he wanted an answer, but honesty was a nice thing. He sighed quietly and began to trace a pattern in the ground with one claw, though it wasn't anything one could recognize. He didn't speak a word as he did this, nor was he thinking silently in his mind. He was there, but he wasn't there at the same time. He snapped out of his trance like state when Minuit spoke, slightly startling him.
"Well, yeah...," he said after a few seconds hesitation. "Why wouldn't I have? Now, if you were just some wolf I talked to a few times, I wouldn't have. But you weren't someone I just talked to a few times, so..." He let his sentence die partially because he felt stupid and partially because he didn't know what else to say. "Like I said, I never really expected to run into you... but I couldn't just forget about someone I loved." He shifted his position, feeling slightly awkward for one reason or another. "But I guess it doesn't matter much now... seeing as how we're both right here..."

"No, Abaddon, I'm glad you're telling me this stuff... I'd rather know than be clueless." Minuit said, looking up and offering a tentative smile. "Besides, I haven't had a chance to explain anything yet... so don't feel so bad, okay?" She added, looking down again, her ears moving slightly but other than that her position was still. Minuit had a lot on her mind... it was almost a bit... awkward to be there at that point. Well, there was probably reason behind that, but maybe if Minuit told Abaddon what she was feeling things would be less awkward? Maybe... still; it was hard.
"Well..." Minuit mused, her gaze lifting as she peered off into the distance. "What if I told you that I still loved you? What if I asked you to stay with me? What would you tell me?" She asked, her gaze dropping back down to his again and hers looking quite intent. She wasn't just messing around, Minuit really did want to know. Because, well, she loved him still. Life was just... weird... knowing that there were feelings besides dislike and things of the sort that still were alive inside of her.

"I don't feel bad," Abaddon interjected, frowning slightly. "Well.. I guess feeling kind of stupid is feeling bad.. or.. wait..." He paused and let his gaze return to the ground, mumbling nonsense quietly to himself. "I don't even know what I'm trying to say," he said, snorting softly as he looked back up. He felt frustrated and irritated because of himself - not Minuit. He wished he was able to keep his act together, but he couldn't help it. Never had he expected to run into Minuit and never had he thought of what he would say or do if he ever had run into her. At that moment, he wished he had thought of something. He had had one hundred years, after all.
"Er..," He returned his gaze to Minuit when he heard her speak again, partial confusion showing through his hazy blue eyes. "Well.. I can't really answer that," he replied slowly as his eyes narrowed slightly. He felt confused and somewhat curious; did she still love him or was she just wondering? Looking into her eyes, he figured maybe she did still have feelings for him, but he couldn't be sure. "Like I said... I never stopped loving you, so... I guess I would stick around," he answered, feeling incredibly foolish for answering it like that. 'Out of all the ways you could have answered that, you said that... idiot.' he thought in his mind. It was all quite sudden for him and he didn't want to get his hopes up. "Sorry," he managed to mumble, scowling at himself. "I guess I'm not really all together, huh?"

"Well I don't think either of us are..." Minuit admitted sheepishly, her gaze meeting his. "Maybe..." She started, needing a bit of time herself to think all of this through. "Maybe we should take some time to think about all of this..." she began, her eyes drifting from his to the waterfall. "And then meet up again.. in oh, say, three days or so at the waterfall? Maybe talk more there, so we're not so much in shock." She offered, lifting a brow as her crimson eyes made their way back to his hazy blue ones.
"But of course, I would understand it if you wanted to find something else to do with your life, instead of just wasting your time on me." She stated, being quite serious. It was all still too insane in her mind that someone could actually care about her. It just... it didn't click for her. Something was missing. There was something... something just wasn't there. Maybe it was a lack of love, or maybe just a lack of sense, she wasn't entirely sure. But she knew that if she were him, she'd of been gone by now instead of spending time with herself.

Abaddon nodded at what she had said. Taking time to think things through made sense, epsecially for them. "I think that's a good idea," he replied slowly as he contemplated over what he would do with the next few days he had to himself. There was a lot of thinking he had to do, but he didn't want to do just that. "Yes, I think that would be best," he said a few moments laterwith a crooked grin that didn't quite reach his shadowed eyes, but it was more believable then the one he had previously shown.
Hearing what she said next almost caused him to laugh out loud, partially because it amused him and partially because it shocked him. "If I thought you were a waste of time, would I even be here right now? Would I have bothered to look for you over the years?" he asked, a gentle smile playing across his maw, this time reaching his eyes. "You always were a silly girl," he murmured, shaking his head. "But that was one of the things I liked about you," he added, letting his gaze drift over to the thunderous waterfall in the distance. "I suppose I'll see you in a few days then?" he asked, turning his gaze back to her's. "You're not going to stand me up, are you?" His question was only half serious, but he thought he would ask.

"Dammit, Abaddon. How'd you know I was going to stand you up?" She asked, looking quite disappointed. She then smiled, and shook her head. "No, I'm only joking, but I would never stand you up, what kind of a wolf do you take me for?" She asked with a playful smirk, the tension sinking down a little more every second they spent together. She had forgotten how nice company could be. Especially with someone who you cared about. Because really, if caring was what she had remembered it to be, Minuit cared, even loved, Abaddon still now. But she would really have to wait to find out if he loved her, or if what she was feeling currently really was love.
"Yes, I'll see you in a few days, Abaddon Templeflame." She smiled softly, and then stood up again, yawning slightly. "Anyways, don't go and get sick on me again, okay?" She joked, and then smiled once more before turning and trotting off in the opposite direction.
Wow. Never saw that coming.
